SALVATION ARMY ANNOUNCES CHRISTMAS ASSISTANCE REGISTRATION
FOR BALTIMORE CITY AND BALTIMORE COUNTY RESIDENTS
FROM SEPT. 13 THROUGH OCT. 1
The Salvation Army will hold registration for Christmas assistance for Baltimore City and Baltimore County residents, at 3800 Buena Vista St., Baltimore, MD, 21211, from Sept. 13 through Oct. 1, Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Past and new clients must bring the following items:
Valid photo ID
Social Security cards for every household member
Proof of all income (pay stubs, DSS, child support, food stamp letters)
Proof of all expenses (BG&E, phone, cable, etc.)
Proof of residence (Section 8 or HUD, lease, mortgage)
Birth certificates for all children 0-12 years old
Gift suggestions under $30 for children
Last year, the Salvation Army distributed more than 31,000 toys to children in need. For information about registration, call 410-783-2920. Deadline to file is October 1.
